Your story. Our engine. Their confidence.
SimplyViable takes the guesswork out of financial projections. Tell us about your business in plain English. We look up what is normal in your trade and fill in the detail. Then we build you a full financial plan that adds up. No spreadsheets required.
"Most founders skip the numbers entirely, or hand the job to someone who barely knows their business — then hope nobody asks too many questions."
— Patricia O'Sullivan, Founder, SimplyViable
The Lalique glass that started this story ↓Built for every side of the conversation.
The same plan, whoever is reading it. Pick the one that sounds like you.
Most plans fail before they're read.
Sums that do not add up, and figures nobody believes, lose a reader before page one. Here is how SimplyViable stops both.

Spreadsheet Dread
You know your business inside out. Then the sheet asks you for a formula, and you start to feel like a fraud.
Describe your business in plain English. Our engine does the accounting. The books balance, and you never write a formula.
The Broken Formulae
Templates break. One total gets typed over, the balance sheet stops balancing. The whole thing falls apart with nothing to tell you where.
The accounting is not left to the AI. It follows the same rules your accountant follows. Change one figure and every statement follows it, straight away and correctly.
The Rejected Plan
Boards and lenders turn plans down flat, and it is rarely the business idea. Sums that do not add up, and figures nobody believes, lose the room before you open your mouth.
We take both away. The three statements are checked against each other before you see them, and the AI checks that your assumptions look sane. Every plan arrives in a shape a reviewer can work through.
Your story becomes their confidence.
Three steps. No spreadsheet formulae. No finance degree required.

Your story
A short description
Tell us what your business does, where it is, and what you are planning. A short paragraph is enough. If you have already worked out the detail, give us that too — we will use every line of it. No spreadsheets. No jargon.

Our engine
We build, you refine
We look up what your kind of business costs and charges where you are. Then we write the whole plan out in plain English. Where we cannot find a figure, we say so and suggest one. You change anything that is wrong. You make the judgement calls. We do the sums.

Their confidence
A plan you can defend
The full accounts — Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet — with the reports that go around them. Written out in plain English from what you told us, so you can read it back and answer their questions. Where your money comes from and goes, when you break even, and how you compare with others in your trade. Everything a bank or an investor expects to see. Save it as a PDF or share the link.
Our Story
Everything here is glass. It is a tribute to René Lalique. My parents sold a piece of his work to put me through college. That education led to a career building businesses. Every one taught me the same thing: a dream without a foundation is just a gamble.
The Dutch learned this in the 1630s. They called it Tulip Mania — pure speculation that ended in a crash. The Viceroy was the most prized tulip of all. It was breathtaking — streaked with violet fire. It remains both a legend and a warning.
That same tulip is now our mark, and Deep Amethyst Violet our colour — both a reminder that every good idea must be built on solid ground. SimplyViable exists to help you prove viability first. Because ambition should lead to a real business, not just a beautiful failure.
— Patricia O'Sullivan, Founder, SimplyViable
Real results. Real businesses.
Small business owners, advisors, and funders — all finding what they needed most.
It handles the mechanical data entry and complex balancing instantly. It allows me to spend my billable hours actually advising my clients on strategy. Not fighting with corrupted Excel templates, or arguing over wildly far-fetched client assumptions.

I dreaded building my financial model. SimplyViable let me just describe my business naturally, and the AI caught my commercial blind spots. In minutes I had a plan that balanced, and one I could explain when they asked me questions.

We spend hours cross-checking applicant spreadsheets for broken formulae and highly unlikely assumptions. That's before we even get to evaluate the business itself. Every plan that reaches you adds up, and stands on real trade figures.
